Marielbys Aguilar has always understood how people and processes work together.
Her early exposure to the industry came through her family’s distribution company in Venezuela, where she developed a practical understanding of operations from a Young age. That foundation, combined with formal studies in administration, logistics, and international trade, shaped a career built on both structure and adaptability. But it was not only professional experience that defined her path. Through challenges and adversities in her family’s business, Marielbys learned to adapt quickly to change; a mindset that became foundational to how she approaches both life and work. Moving to Chile at the age of 24, starting again with limited resources and no support system, became a defining moment. It strengthened her resilience, independence, and ability to navigate uncertainty with optimism and an open mind.
Over her career, Marielbys developed a 360° understanding of how organisations function — across administration, operations, and project coordination — with the ability to see both the finer details and the bigger picture. Today, as Project Manager at Deep Sur, she leads the implementation of client operations, aligning processes, coordinating teams, and ensuring everything runs smoothly across countries, systems, and functions. She thrives in environments where no two days are the same. What sets Marielbys apart is her ability to connect. She listens, understands, and brings together different perspectives to diagnose problems at their root – by uncovering what is really causing friction across systems or processes. Her natural curiosity and genuine interest in people allow her to align different stakeholders, build trust, and produce solutions that work across both operational and administrative realities.
