Profile
Veronica Treachi has always been drawn to a challenge.
At the age of 18, she stepped into the world of multinational corporations and immersed herself in the operational layers of global trade. She moved across different functions of international logistics, business development, and supply chain operations – and quickly discovered that trade is not just about moving goods, but about navigating systems: compliance, departmental politics, and cultural nuance.
By the age of 29, she had been appointed CEO of a multinational logistics company, and at 33, she took the entrepreneurial leap, founding a company built on her rare inside-out understanding of how large organisations truly operate.
Travel expanded her knowledge into perspective. Having worked and travelled across more than sixty countries, from Asia to the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and across the Americas, she learned early that beneath cultural nuance, the same human drivers exist everywhere.
Just as importantly, she came to recognise one of the most common misconceptions in global trade: treating Latin America as a single market. In reality, the region is highly fragmented, with each country carrying its own regulatory, commercial, operational, and cultural dynamics. Understanding that complexity – and bridging global client expectations with local realities – became the foundation of her approach.
The fluency she developed allowed her to design structures that felt seamless, protected momentum, reduce friction, and align people, project, and process.
After years of managing and scaling international operations, and co-building businesses in the region, Veronica saw an opportunity to apply her expertise to her home ground.
Veronica believed international companies did not just need access to Latin America; they needed a partner who understood both sides – the expectations of global corporations and the realities of operating in South America.
Deep Sur was born from a desire to apply global-level structure within Latin America. As Founder and Managing Director, Veronica sets the direction and tempo of Deep Sur. From conducting departments to ensuring commitments translate into outcomes. For her, leadership is alignment – between word and action, empathy and accountability, challenge and execution.
What truly sets her apart is her mindset. Technology can be acquired. Processes can be built. But tenacity – the instinct to keep going, to question, to correct, to improve – is cultural. Veronica instils that drive across her team. Professionalism is not performative; it is disciplined follow-through. Curiosity is not surface level; it is the spark that powers problem-solving.
If Deep Sur commits; it happens. This resolve was not built in boardrooms. It was forged in motion. Team sports in her youth taught her discipline, loyalty, and what it means to rely on others while being relied upon. A love for the outdoors, trekking, skiing, horseback riding and motorcycling cross-country, taught her courage and endurance. A life built around active movement and challenge became her mental training: when you are exhausted but keep going, you learn that the limit is rarely where you first think it is.
For Veronica, growth is not only opportunity. It’s the challenge that energises her. She believes a company reflects the integrity of its leader – and she chooses to build one where ambition and alignment coexist.
Latin America will remain one of the most dynamic yet misunderstood trade regions in the world — and Deep Sur’s role is to help turn that complexity into opportunity.
